For the 19th year, we will be hosting our Academic Decathlon Lecture on the topic of the Roaring Twenties. We plan to have six speakers, each with his/her area of expertise on Decathlon subject matter. Students are invited to choose four of the six lectures they feel they need the most study. Sessions will last approximately 50 minutes and lunch will be provided. Please register by October 13th, 2025. For more information please reach out to Kristi Winter. This year’s registration is due by October 13, 2025. Payment must accompany registration. We will not register students for sessions until we have received payment for the event and will send confirmation once completed registration has been received. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Coaches will receive a confirmation once they are registered. If coaches do not receive an email from us, they are not registered and should call us with any questions. In order to attend, we must receive an electronic liability release form for each chaperone and student filled out by a parent/guardian. A link to the form is below. Admittance will not be allowed if the release form is not on file by the deadline and no refunds will be processed.

Registration Process
All steps must be completed for student attendance.
- School Registration Formmust be completed online. Coaches can print and use the attached form as an invoice if needed (invoices will not be mailed). It is the coach’s responsibility to forward all payment information to their business department.
- Session Selection Formsfor participants must be submitted online (one per person, including chaperones). Choose four lectures for each participant. Sessions are on a first come, first served basis. Lectures are tentative and some sessions may change or fill up. Coaches will be notified of any changes and students will be placed in other sessions.
- Payment must be received before teams are registered. No purchase orders accepted.
- By check: Mail payment (including the school name) to Kristi Winter at Madera County Schools Foundation, 1105 S. Madera Avenue, Madera, CA 93637. Checks only, no purchase orders accepted. Make checks payable to Madera County Schools Foundation.
- By credit card: Schools may pay online at https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/F6SEYENQ8JFW6. After payment has been made, email a copy of the receipt to kwinter@mcsos.org and include the school and coach’s name and email. A 5% processing fee for credit cards will be added to the total amount.
- Liability Form for each participant (including adults) must be submitted by the registration deadline (October 13, 2025). Each parent/guardian must fill out and sign the form.
